Hello! My name is Melanie Webb, and I’m the Ideas section editor this year. I’m a senior studying English with a writing concentration, and this is my third year working for the AUSM. I’m really opinionated, but about things that only I care about (milk before cereal, tortillas are bread, water is NOT wet, etc., etc.). Almost as much as my own opinions, I enjoy reading about what other people think about things, and my goal this year is to bring students’ voices to the fore on issues that matter.
Hello, my name is Samuel Ruiz. I am a senior majoring in business administration. This is my first year writing for the Student Movement, and I am enthusiastic about exploring topics in the Ideas section.
Hello! My name is Matthew Henderson. I am a sophomore majoring in English and minoring in photography. While this is technically not my first year writing for AUSM, as I did write a single article at the end of last semester, I think it is close enough. I am a person with many opinions, and not nearly enough vehicles with which to share them, so I look forward to using the Ideas section as a means of subjecting the world to the many things I have to say.
