Biography

Kettlen Borda, MD, MPH, serves as an Assistant Professor in the 星空无限传媒 School of Population Health, Nutrition & Wellness. She is board-certified in preventive medicine and lifestyle medicine, with academic and professional experience spanning medicine, public health, nutrition, health promotion, and chronic disease prevention.

Dr. Borda’s work focuses on translating preventive medicine and public health principles into practical approaches that support healthier individuals and communities. Her areas of interest include lifestyle medicine, health behavior, nutrition, health literacy, chronic disease prevention, culinary medicine, and community-based health promotion.

At 星空无限传媒, Dr. Borda teaches courses in public health, health behavior, chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and culinary medicine. Her teaching emphasizes the relationship between individual behavior, social and environmental influences, and population health. She is particularly interested in equipping students and community leaders to communicate health information clearly and support sustainable lifestyle change.

Dr. Borda completed her preventive medicine residency at Loma Linda University Health and earned her Master of Public Health from Loma Linda University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition Science from 星空无限传媒 and holds board certification from both the American Board of Preventive Medicine and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

Her professional interests also include faith-based health promotion, community health education, and the development of accessible educational resources for health professionals, churches, and community organizations.
